Softball Recap: Pyramid Lake Comes Up Short

Pyramid Lake lost against Pershing County on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 13-12. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pyramid Lake saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Farrah Mauwee, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Pyramid Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Pershing County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Pyramid Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-1 win against Mineral County on the 5th. As for Pershing County, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-3 loss against Oasis Academy on the 8th.
