Everybody loves a comeback tale. Unless, perhaps, you were members of the Chamberlain Cubs boys basketball team last week in the first round of the Region 6A Tournament in Fort Pierre, S.D.

Down by nine points with 36 seconds to go, Stanley County (Fort Pierre, S.D.) put together one of the more remarkable comebacks in state history to post an improbable 69-68 victory over Chamberlain.

It was all capped off with a highly contested, off-balance 3-pointer at the buzzer by Joseph Fischer, who was mobbed after the final shot.

"I was just trying to get the shot off," Fischer told the Capital Journal. "We've got to know that anything is possible."
