Desert Christian hasn't had much luck against Vasquez recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Desert Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Vasquez at 3:15 p.m. One thing working in Desert Christian's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
Desert Christian proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 13) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Antelope Valley, sneaking past 14-13. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Antelopes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Meanwhile, Vasquez posted their closest win since April 20, 2024 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over Faith Baptist.
Madisyn Wharton made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits (and not a single walk). Wharton was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
