Soccer Game Preview: Douglas vs. Keefe Tech

The Douglas Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Keefe Tech Broncos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Douglas turned things around against Nipmuc Regional on Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result was nothing new for Douglas as the team haven't won a game since September 8th.

Meanwhile, Keefe Tech came up short against Advanced Math & Science Academy on Friday and fell 3-1.

Keefe Tech's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-1. With that draw, Douglas' record moves to 1-5-1.

Douglas couldn't quite get it done against Keefe Tech in their previous meeting two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
