Football Recap: Frontier Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Frontier had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the West Seneca West Warhawks, falling 43-6. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Warhawks are ranked 182nd).

Mason Anderson had a dynamite game For West Seneca West., throwing for 120 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punching in a pair of scores on the ground. Another player making a difference was Jarod Freeman, who rushed for 82 yards and one TD.

Coming up, Frontier will challenge Niagara-Wheatfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Seneca West, they will square off against Kenmore West at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
