Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Michael Dippel and Raekwon Pettigrew Lead Bellaire to Victory + How To Watch

The Bellaire Big Reds strolled past the Monroe Central Seminoles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 44-27. The Big Reds pushed the score to 28-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Seminoles cut but never quite recovered from.

A big part of Bellaire's victory came down to the chemistry between Michael Dippel and his top target Raekwon Pettigrew. Dippel threw for 337 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.3 yards per attempt while Pettigrew picked up 261 receiving yards and four TDs. Pettigrew's longest reception was for an incredible 74 yards.

Bellaire has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 37.5 points this season. As for Monroe Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
