Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian lost against Lubbock Christian back in March of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trinity Christian Lions'2024 ended with a 56-38 loss against the Lubbock Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 722nd, while the Eagles are ranked 138th).

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Christian and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for Lubbock Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Trinity Christian will venture away from home to face off against Southwest Christian School at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Christian School will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Trinity Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lubbock Christian, they will welcome Crane at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
