Baseball Recap: Huntington Makes It Five in a Row at Home

While Huntington put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Green. The Huntsmen didn't even let the Bobcats on the board, marking the Huntsmen's second-straight 12-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huntsmen.

Andrew Oyer tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Troy McDonald was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Matthew Jordan, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Huntington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Huntington pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Green, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Huntington has already played their next game, a 4-2 win against McClain on the 2nd. As for Green, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-1 victory against Clay on the 2nd.
