Volleyball Recap: Glades Day Takes a Loss

Glades Day's tournament run continued when they took on Basilica on Saturday. The Gators fell 2-0 to the Mariners.

Lily Davis paced Glades Day's offense, picking up five kills. Davis got some help from Jensen Rimes and her six assists. Finally, Davis was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Glades Day has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Basilica, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Glades Day will square off against Lake Worth Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Basilica, they will head out to square off against Cardinal Gibbons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
