Basketball Recap: Norris Falls Short Against Ranked Skutt Catholic

On Tuesday, Norris faced Skutt Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Norris Titans fell 63-51 to the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Norris still got an impressive performance from Chris Garner Jr., who went 7 of 13 on his way to 16 points and three blocks. That's the most blocks Garner Jr. has posted since back in December of 2024. Barret Boesiger was another key player, going 5 for 12 to rack up 15 points.

Norris' defeat dropped their record down to 19-2. As for Skutt Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
