Volleyball Recap: Clifton-Clyde Comes Up Short

Clifton-Clyde lost against Centralia back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12.

Sevy Wurtz paced Clifton-Clyde's offense, picking up five kills. Wurtz also shared the team's lead in assists with Jordi Fahey: they picked up four each.

Clifton-Clyde's defeat dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Centralia, their win bumped their record up to 28-9.

Clifton-Clyde didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Linn on the 14th. Centralia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
