North Summit waltzed into their match on Thursday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Rich Rebels 67-45. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

North Summit got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hayzlyn Murdock out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 boards. What's more, Murdock also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Hartlynn Richins was another key player, going 7 for 11 en route to 19 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.

North Summit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 19 consecutive games.

When it comes to explaining why Rich lost, don't look at Braylyn Pugmire. Despite the final result, she went 5 of 9 on her way to 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kira Jolley, who posted five points and three steals.

North Summit's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.6 points. As for Rich, with the loss, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-2.

North Summit didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-35 victory against Grand County on the 31st. As for Rich, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-16 win against Altamont on the 31st.
