Elba's tournament run continued when they took on Opp on Saturday. Elba came up short against Opp, falling 10-2.

Elba saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Parks, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Parks a new career-high.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Level). They put the hurt on McKenzie with a sharp 20-1 victory last Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 19, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Caroline Blackwell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Emmie Snider was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Payten Martin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Red Level kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McKenzie only managed five hits.

Red Level now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Elba, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
