Argonaut waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 77-64 victory over the El Dorado Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-67 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Argonaut to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mitchell Mcmahan, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 19 rebounds. That's the most boards Mcmahan has posted since back in January of 2024. Jordan Caspary was another key player, going 6 for 12 en route to 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why El Dorado lost, don't look at Logan Baker. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Ben Beasley, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Argonaut pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for El Dorado, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Argonaut has already played their next contest, an 85-79 loss against Union Mine on the 29th. As for El Dorado, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-52 defeat against Rosemont on the 29th.
