Softball Recap: Lewisville Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Lewisville's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Lee Central Stallions get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.

Lewisville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Lee Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Lewisville will welcome Great Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.25 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lee Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Lamar at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Silver Foxes will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Stallions surely won't give up without a fight.
