Basketball Recap: Blue Valley Comes Up Short

Blue Valley was the 59-48 winner over Frankfort when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Valley Rams took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frankfort Wildcats on Saturday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blue Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Frankfort, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Blue Valley and Frankfort should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Blue Valley will square off against Wakefield on Tuesday up 219 places (131 vs. 350). Meanwhile, Frankfort (ranked 144th) will meet Washington County (ranked 304th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
