Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the Community Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 18-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Community, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Slater at 5:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Community, they will host North Shelby at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
