Softball Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart lost against Concordia on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights lost 10-2 to the Panthers.

Sacred Heart saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edyn Sharpton, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Concordia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Sacred Heart will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Republic County at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Concordia, they will take on Rock Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
