Basketball Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland's tournament run continued when they took on Quaker Valley on Saturday. The Rams were beaten by the Quakers 82-49.

Despite the loss, Richland still got an impressive performance from Glaiden Hale, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Lushko, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 13 points.

Quaker Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nic Cohen, who posted 26 points. Another player making a difference was Zachary Washington, who put up 22 points.

Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Quaker Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richland will face off against Bellefonte at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Quaker Valley, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Farrell at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th.
