Basketball Game Preview: Shaw Cardinals vs. Waite Indians

Having just played yesterday, the Shaw Cardinals will jump right back in to play the Waite Indians at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Shaw and three for Waite.

Shaw is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Garrett Morgan on Sunday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Shaw lost 40-18 to Garrett Morgan.

Meanwhile, Waite ended up a good deal behind Northwood on Tuesday and lost 57-39.

Waite's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Shaw, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything came up roses for Shaw against Waite when the teams last played back in November of 2015, as the squad secured a 66-23 win. Will Shaw repeat their success, or does Waite have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
