Volleyball Recap: Banks County Takes a Loss

Banks County and Gordon Lee squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Banks County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-17.

Ella Langford paced Banks County's offense, picking up nine kills. Langford got some help from Kimber Meister and her 18 assists. Langford was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Banks County's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 22-14. As for Gordon Lee, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 37-10.

Banks County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gordon Lee, they will be playing at home against Model at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
