Football Recap: Willows Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Willows unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 15-8 to the Williams Yellowjackets on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Ricardo Medina, who rushed for 100 yards and one TD. He was even better on defense, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss). Azael Velazquez was in the mix as well, providing Williams with one touchdown.

Coming up, Willows will take on Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Williams, they will face off against Mt. Shasta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
