Soccer Recap: Guyer Takes Down Ranked Hebron

On Tuesday, Guyer faced Hebron in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Guyer Wildcats never let the Hebron Hawks onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-2 victory the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Guyer's one-goal win came courtesy of Lola Cavalle, which was the first she's scored this season.

Guyer's win bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Hebron, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Guyer will challenge Marcus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Guyer's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Hebron, they will take on Little Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
