Soccer Recap: Raytown Takes a Loss

If Raytown was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Ruskin on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays fell just short of the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Raytown of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.

Raytown's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for St. Michael the Archangel, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Raytown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Michael the Archangel, they will square off against Pembroke Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
