It was fun while it lasted, but Southeast Bulloch's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Tuesday. They came up short against the Long County Blue Tide, falling 5-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Yellow Jackets were already down 4-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Southeast Bulloch fell to 6-1. As for Long County, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Southeast Bulloch and Long County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Southeast Bulloch (ranked 71st) will meet Islands (ranked 215th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Long County will challenge Groves at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday up 180 places (91 vs. 271).
