Baseball Game Preview: Bravo Knights vs. Lincoln Tigers

For the second straight game, Bravo will face off against Lincoln. The Knights will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Bravo beat Lincoln 7-2.

Anthony Gonzalez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up 14 Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joshua Torres, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Alfredo Orendian, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Lincoln now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bravo, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bravo has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lincoln struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
