Basketball Recap: Centreville Gets the Win

If James Madison wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Centreville, they should've done a better job of containing Jaxson Davis. The Centreville Wildcats secured a 53-49 W over the James Madison Warhawks on Friday thanks in part to Davis, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 15 points along with five assists and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played.

Centreville now has a winning record of 10-9. As for James Madison, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centreville will challenge Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
