Softball Recap: Manti Comes Up Short

Manti lost against Cedar back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Templars came up short against the Reds, falling 22-4.

Hannah Daniels was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Manti has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Cedar, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manti will face off against North Sanpete at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar, they will venture away from home to challenge Snow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Reds are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
