Dundy County-Stratton waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Mustangs, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Despite the loss, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Hrasky had 21 digs. Hrasky has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times she's played. Mia Cranwell also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Dundy County-Stratton's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Dundy County-Stratton will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Francis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ansley/Litchfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
