Soccer Game Preview: Sioux City North vs. Waukee

The Sioux City North Stars are taking a road trip to take on the Waukee Warriors on Wednesday. Sioux City North is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Sioux City North's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Fort Dodge. Sioux City North's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Meanwhile, Waukee hasn't lost a match since May 3rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Pella finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Waukee's record moves to 7-1-9. As for Sioux City North, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-1.

Sioux City North might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Waukee in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Stars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
