Basketball Recap: North Central Has No Trouble Against Twin Loup

North Central's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down the Twin Loup Wolves 50-32. The Knights pushed the score to 42-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolves cut but never quite recovered from.

North Central found their leader in sophomore Mya Lewis, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. Lewis also set a new season-high mark in steals with six. Kallie Mundorf also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

North Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Twin Loup still got an impressive performance from Madison Glidden, who posted 14 points.

North Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Twin Loup, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

North Central has already played their next match, a 48-32 win against Niobrara/Verdigre on the 21st. As for Twin Loup, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-24 loss against Mullen on the 21st.
