After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greeley Central, Frederick was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Skyline Falcons 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Frederick were the better team in the second half.

Frederick's record now sits at 3-5-1. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Frederick will challenge rival Longmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Skyline is set to square off against their familiar foe Mead at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
