Volleyball Recap: West Central Starts Season with Win at Home

West Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against the Valley Lutheran Crusaders by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Valley Lutheran is on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

West Central has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Madrid on the 30th. As for Valley Lutheran, they will take on Aplington-Parkersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
