Baseball Recap: Jemez Valley's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Jemez Valley dropped their record down to 11-12 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They lost 23-2 to the Hozho Academy Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Warrior couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Hozho Academy, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs.

For Hozho Academy's part, Brody Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Brown has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
