Volleyball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Takes a Loss

Sunrise Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Las Vegas Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Sunrise Mountain started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-13, 25-16, 25-12.

Sunrise Mountain's record now sits at 3-18. As for Las Vegas, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Sunrise Mountain nor Las Vegas have any future games scheduled.
