Volleyball Recap: South Bend Washington Comes Up Short

South Bend Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Penn Kingsmen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-7, 25-9.

South Bend Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Penn, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

South Bend Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Wheeler on the 12th. As for Penn, they will square off against Edwardsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
