Softball Recap: Hayesville Yellowjackets vs. Copper Basin Cougars

Hayesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 12-6 to the Copper Basin Cougars. That's two games in a row now that Hayesville has lost by exactly six runs.

Raylyn Taylor made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Danielle Anderson, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

On Copper Basin's side, Riley Hall was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. Maggie Scoggins was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.

Hayesville's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Copper Basin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.
