Basketball Recap: Buna Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Buna can now relate to. They were beaten by the Diboll Lumberjacks 53-21 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 591st, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 291st).

Buna's loss dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Diboll, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-4.

As of now, neither Buna nor Diboll have any future games scheduled.
