Sweetwater lost to Breckenridge back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Buckaroos 2-1.
Mallory Gibson paced Sweetwater's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gibson got some help from Kieran Sisk and her 17 assists. Kyra Gomez and Lexi Maestas kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
