It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Moberly ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marshall Owls, sneaking past 3-2. Moberly better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Jacob Tustison, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Moberly is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Marshall, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moberly will take on Green Ridge in a tournament on Friday. As for Marshall, they will take on Mexico at 6:40 p.m. on Monday. Marshall are facing Mexico at the right time seeing as Mexico are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
