Basketball Recap: Central Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

It's playoff time, and Central had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 30-19 victory over the Reagan Bison on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rockets as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Reagan lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mariangel Perez, who posted six points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Ivanesciuc, who put up five points along with nine boards and three blocks.

Central's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12. As for Reagan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Central has already played their next match (against American Heritage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Reagan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
