It was a good run, but Madera unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Golden Valley Cougars by a score of 2-1. The Coyotes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Marc Her went supernova for Golden Valley, getting 32 assists and four digs. Her is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 17 or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Madera's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Golden Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Madera has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Washington Union on the 15th. As for Golden Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Sanger West on the 15th.
