Temple's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Jonesboro Cardinals an 8-0 shutout. Temple might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

The victory got Temple back to even at 7-7. As for Jonesboro, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Temple will venture away from home to challenge Langston Hughes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Temple will be up against Langston Hughes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.38 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Jonesboro, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mt. Zion at 6:00 p.m. on April 13.
