Basketball Recap: Middleburg Takes a Loss

Middleburg was the 71-44 winner over Crescent City when they last played one another on January 10th, but their luck changed this time around. The Middleburg Broncos lost to the Crescent City Raiders on the road by a 50-34 margin on Saturday. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middleburg's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Crescent City, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Middleburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-43 loss against Union County on the 27th. Crescent City has also already played their next game (against Tocoi Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
