Madison gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed by the Belle Fourche Broncs at home to the tune of 41-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2018.

Ben Brooks had a dynamite game for Madison, rushing for 103 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 186 yards and a touchdown on only 14 passes. Another player making a difference was Jordan Pedersen, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown.

Madison wouldn't let Belle Fourche keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Israel Ouverson was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack, forcing two fumbles, and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Madison will face off against Dell Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belle Fourche, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on West Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Belle Fourche is looking for their season?s first victory.
