Lynchburg-Clay waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 47-46 win over the Peebles Indians. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Indians back in December of 2024, they had to take a 77-68 defeat.

Lynchburg-Clay has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Peebles, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynchburg-Clay has already played their next game (against Hillsboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Peebles won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Georgetown at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
