Charlevoix posted their closest victory since September 7, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Onaway Cardinals, sneaking past 1-0. For the Rayders, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Charlevoix has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Onaway, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Charlevoix didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against St. Mary Cathedral on the 25th. As for Onaway, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
