Baseball Game Preview: Clear Lake Warriors vs. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs

The Clear Lake Warriors will challenge the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Clear Lake is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Spring Valley hit Clear Lake with a five-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors came up short against the Cardinals, falling 11-2.

Clear Lake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Lundgren, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Lundgren is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They won by a run and slipped past Colfax 6-5.

The win got Chetek-Weyerhaeuser back to even at 2-2. As for Clear Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
