Basketball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

If Riverside was riding high fresh off their 71-29 takedown of Griswold last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Riverside Bulldogs had to suffer through a 70-31 loss at the hands of the Treynor Cardinals. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Treynor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Riverside will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Missouri Valley at 7:30 p.m. As for Treynor, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Treynor Cardinals challenge the Logan-Magnolia Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Treynor's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
