Plymouth has gone a perfect 10-0 against Wayne Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will welcome the Zebras at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Plymouth has four straight victories, Wayne Memorial has 13 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Plymouth and Howell meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Wildcats didn't even let the Highlanders on the board, marking the Wildcats' second-straight 1-0 shutout.

Brady Tegen tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Plymouth's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Drew Kime, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Wayne Memorial's offense. They lost 10-0 to Churchill on Wednesday.

Wayne Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Plymouth, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.

Plymouth beat Wayne Memorial 7-2 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Zebras have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
